Simon Ateba News Africa is a daily African online newspaper publishing from Washington D.C., USA. It launched in 2010 as Simon Ateba News and rebranded as Simon Ateba News Africa in August 2017. The newspaper mainly focuses on Nigerian and Cameroonian news, although it also publishes articles about the rest of Africa.

Simon Ateba News Africa was founded by Simon Ateba, a Cameroonian-born journalist who was trained in Nigeria and practiced there between 2006 and 2017 before he relocated to Washington DC from where the newspaper is being published daily.

While Simon Ateba is the editor-in-chief of the newspaper, Oladipupo Oni is the Abuja Bureau Chief and he is based in Abuja, Nigeria. Emmanuel Ikodor is the National Security Correspondent of the newspaper and he is based in Lagos, Nigeria. Olabisi Ololade, who is in charge of marketing and strategic communication, is based in Lagos, Nigeria.

The newspaper also relies on other writers as well as about 10 freelance journalists, including photographers and video-graphers for its daily edition.

We maintain an independent editorial policy and are mainly funded via online advertising.
